Job Description: Java Spring Boot Developer (Remote Project-Based)

About the Role

Digital Innovations is looking for a skilled and motivated Java Spring Boot Developer to work with us on a project basis. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Java backend development, REST APIs, database management, and application integration. This is a remote opportunity for developers who can independently deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and frontend applications.
• Debug issues, optimize performance, and ensure code quality.
• Follow clean coding practices, maintain documentation, and use Git for version control.
• Coordinate remotely with the team and provide regular project progress updates.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, and collections.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience in REST API development and integration.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and database design.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and Postman.
• Understanding of exception handling, validation, and application security.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Spring Security and JWT authentication.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment, and CI/CD.
• Experience integrating Java backends with React, Vue.js, or mobile applications.

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote, with no daily office attendance required.
• Work will be assigned according to project requirements.
• Payment will be based on mutually agreed project scope, milestones, or deliverables.
• Developers must provide regular progress updates and meet agreed deadlines.
