Junior English Content Writer / Copywriter

We are looking for a Junior English Content Writer / Copywriter with a minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in content writing, copywriting, scriptwriting, or digital media.

The role is primarily focused on English content creation for brands across digital and social media platforms. Candidates with experience in media houses, digital agencies, news platforms, branding teams, or content agencies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging English copy for brand communication and digital campaigns.
• Develop scripts for reels, short-form videos, brand films, and promotional videos.
• Write social media static copy, carousel copy, captions, and video copy.
• Create blogs, website content, articles, and long-form content.
• Develop campaign concepts, headlines, taglines, and creative copy.
• Research topics and ensure content is accurate, relevant, and audience-focused.
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity, tone, and consistency.
• Work closely with designers, video editors, marketing teams, and project teams.
• Adapt writing style based on different brands, platforms, and target audiences.
• Deliver content within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in English content writing or copywriting.
• Excellent command of written English.
• Strong experience in copywriting, scriptwriting, blogs, social media content, static creatives, and video content.
• Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
• Strong research, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Ability to write both short-form and long-form content.
• Ability to handle multiple brands and adapt to different tones of voice.
• Basic Malayalam understanding/writing ability will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Work Arrangement

• Initially Work From Home (WFH).
• Candidates should be willing to relocate/work from our Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) office after the initial remote working period.
