ABOUT THE JOB

De Art is an independent digital media platform dedicated to visual arts, artists, and cultural expression.

We are looking for a careful and organized Digital Arts Quality Assurance Assistant to help maintain the quality and consistency of our website content.

The role involves reviewing published pages, checking links and images, identifying formatting problems, and documenting issues that may affect readability or the user experience. The successful candidate will work with editorial and website contributors to help ensure that digital content is presented clearly and consistently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review website pages and published articles for formatting and presentation issues.

• Check headings, paragraphs, captions, images, and hyperlinks.

• Identify broken links, missing images, duplicate content, and visible layout inconsistencies.

• Review content presentation on desktop and mobile devices.

• Check that articles display correctly after publication or updates.

• Document identified issues clearly and report them to the relevant team members.

• Follow up on corrections and verify that reported problems have been resolved.

• Maintain a simple quality assurance checklist and issue log.

• Help improve consistency across article pages, categories, and other website sections.

• Support routine content quality reviews before and after publication.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in website administration, digital publishing, content review, software testing, or a related field is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to checking work.

• Familiarity with websites and common browser-based tools.

• Basic understanding of content management systems, preferably WordPress.

• Good written communication skills and the ability to document issues clearly.

• Ability to follow checklists, prioritize tasks, and meet agreed deadlines.

• Familiarity with responsive website layouts and basic usability principles is desirable.

• Interest in visual arts, cultural media, or digital publishing is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with collaborators.
