About the Role

Team Structure & Leadership Impact

We are seeking a hands-on Senior AI DevOps / Platform Engineer to productionize, deploy, and operate AI-native applications using Harness, cloud-native technologies, and modern DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate combines deep Harness expertise with cloud, Kubernetes, automation, and a strong working understanding of modern AI/GenAI architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Harness & CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Harness. Build and manage Harness pipelines, services, environments, connectors, templates, and deployment workflows.
• End-to-End AI Application Lifecycle: Take AI applications from source code through build, test, security validation, and production deployment. Partner directly with AI engineers to create a highly automated code-to-production delivery model.
• Infrastructure & Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment. Deploy containerized applications across Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Release & Governance: Implement appropriate release strategies, governance, security controls, and rollback mechanisms.
• Integrations & DevSecOps: Integrate source repositories, artifact repositories, security tools, testing frameworks, and cloud platforms.
• Observability & Operations: Establish observability and operational practices for AI and traditional applications. Troubleshoot build, pipeline, infrastructure, and deployment issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Harness Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD. Strong proficiency with Harness pipelines, YAML/pipeline-as-code, services, environments, connectors, infrastructure, and deployment workflows. Experience with Harness Skills and AI-assisted CI/CD workflows is strongly preferred.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven IaC expertise using Terraform or equivalent tools.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Scripting & Core Tooling: Strong skills in Git, Linux, Python, and/or shell scripting.
• Security & Observability: Solid experience with secrets management, security controls, observability, and DevSecOps principles.
• AI/GenAI Knowledge: Working knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic applications, vector databases, and model APIs. Direct experience deploying AI/GenAI applications in production is highly desirable.
