Senior Software Engineer [Java and Python]

As a Senior Software Engineer at GOCS, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that address complex business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern technologies
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality
• Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack
• Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in both Java and Python
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
