SQL Developer (Snowflake and SQL Server)

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with at least 5 years of experience doing hands on work. We are in the middle of a migration where we are replacing SQL Server entirely with Snowflake. We therefore require experience in both platforms.

The intention is start with an initial contract with opportunity to extend to either part-time or full time.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain existing and new SQL code in Snowflake.
• Assist with migrating existing SQL Server code into Snowflake.
• Write documentation of existing and new tech

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical subject such as Math, Science, Computer Science, Engineering etc.
• At least 5 years of experience doing hands on work within a corporate setting and references to back this up.
• A fundamental understanding of SQL is required. We use AI assistance for coding, however expect a fundamental understanding of syntax and concept without the use of AI.

If selected, the first call will be with the Head of Data Management and an on-the-spot assessment of technical ability will be conducted to ensure that knowledge is at a sufficient level without the use of AI.
