Phytomedicine, Preclinical Data & B2B Scientific Communication
Department R&D / Scientific Marketing
**Location Hyderabad preferred Hybrid may be considered**Experience 3-5 years in scientific or medical writing
Reports to Head of R&D; dotted line to Commercial
Focus Technical dossiers, evidence translation, and buyer-facing scientific assets
The Opportunity
Convert Ariv’s extraction science, analytical data, and preclinical findings into technically rigorous, readable
materials that earn trust with US formulation, quality, regulatory, and procurement teams. This is a scientific
writing role - not general content marketing or social-media copywriting.
What Success Looks Like
A controlled core technical dossier and product monograph for each commercial ingredient.
Buyer-ready specification sheets, scientific presentations, FAQs, and evidence summaries.
Clear, appropriately qualified mechanism-of-action and structure-function claim support narratives.
Fast, accurate responses to technical questionnaires and scientific due-diligence requests.
A searchable evidence library with traceable references, version control, and claim substantiation.
Key Responsibilities
Data translation: Synthesize extraction parameters, phytochemical characterization, analytical methods,
bioassays, and preclinical findings into clear scientific narratives.
Technical dossiers: Author and maintain product monographs, technical data sheets, white papers, MoA
summaries, FAQs, slide decks, and study summaries.
Evidence management: Conduct structured literature reviews, assess study quality and relevance,
manage references, and maintain evidence-to-claim traceability.
Claims support: Draft scientifically defensible structure-function wording within US dietary supplement
boundaries, in partnership with Regulatory.
Study documentation: Support protocol synopses, investigator briefs, reports, abstracts, posters, and
publication-ready summaries for in-vitro and in-vivo work.
Customer support: Draft responses for technical questionnaires and scientific queries from customer
R&D, QA, and Regulatory teams.
Cross-functional control: Maintain approved language, document versions, review workflows, source
files, and consistency across scientific and commercial materials.
Candidate Profile
Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences,
Pharmacy, or a closely related discipline.
Experience: 3-5 years in medical writing, scientific communications, regulatory writing, or technical
documentation in nutraceuticals, phytomedicine, botanical drugs, or pharma.
Scientific reasoning: Able to interpret assay design, controls, endpoints, dose-response data, statistical
outputs, limitations, and biological relevance.
Ariv Biosciences Confidential Recruitment Document Writing quality: Excellent English, precise citation practice, strong document architecture, and ability to
adapt one evidence base for scientific and commercial audiences.
Regulatory awareness: Practical understanding of structure-function claims, substantiation, DSHEA
boundaries, and the distinction between ingredient evidence and finished-product claims.
Tools: Proficiency with reference managers and document collaboration/version-control workflows.
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria
Submitted writing samples showing technical or medical authorship; generic blogs alone are insufficient.
Ability to critically interpret primary research and preclinical data rather than merely summarize abstracts.
Experience working with scientific, quality, regulatory, or clinical stakeholders through review cycles.
No plagiarism, invented citations, overstatement, or disease-treatment language.
Preferred / Advantageous
Experience with botanical standardization, phytochemistry, natural products, or dietary supplement
ingredients.
Publication, poster, protocol, or technical dossier experience.
Familiarity with PubMed, Zotero/EndNote/Mendeley, and AI-assisted research with rigorous human
verification.
Understanding of common analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, spectroscopy, or validated
bioassays.
