Technical Manager - Occasionwear & Tailoring - Contemporary Luxury Brand

Fella and Jones are delighted to be partnered with this Global Contemporary Luxury Womenswear brand in the search of a Technical Manager. Reporting into the Design Director & and wider Head Of Technical, you will play a key role in the development of all collections for this globally renowned brand which is going through exciting re positioning. The brand will focus on Occasionwear & Tailoring. The brand is open to Womenswear & Menswear backgrounds who are technically sound.

The role will oversee a team of three in the technical team. Experience will include:

• Management of tech packs for new styles including consumptions and construction notes
• Working alongside the production team to develop CADs and develop prototypes
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading
• Understanding of testing, analysing test reports, and garment care
• Strong knowledge of women’s RTW ideally at a luxury level
• Pre-empting and eliminating any potential production issues in line with the critical path
• Signifiant experience of working within a luxury retailer/supplier/manufacturer
