Software Engineer Payment Systems
Job Title : Software Engineer – Payment Systems
Location : Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore
Experience : 1-4
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure payment systems that support real-time transactions across multiple channels including UPI, cards, and wallets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize payment processing modules and APIs.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and security of payment systems.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless deployment.
- Integrate with external payment gateways and banking systems.
- Monitor transaction performance and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in software development, preferably in fintech.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Understanding of payment protocols and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 8583).
