Motion & Digital Designer

Our client, a well-established organization focused on creating engaging digital experiences and content-driven solutions, is seeking a Motion & Digital Designer to join their creative team. This role combines video production, motion graphics, animation, and digital design to create compelling content across multiple channels.

Location: Remote (Must be available for meetings between 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET)

Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Potential for Extension-indefinitely)

Hours: 35 hours/week

Pay Rate: Up to $54/hour

Start Date: ASAP

The ideal candidate is a strong video storyteller who can transform concepts, illustrations, and static assets into engaging motion content for digital marketing campaigns, websites, social media, email communications, and other digital platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Create motion graphics and animations that elevate video and digital content.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and visual appeal.
• Develop motion-based content for digital marketing campaigns, social media, websites, email, and online advertising.
• Collaborate closely with creative, product, and cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh creative ideas and design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
• Ensure all stakeholders remain informed on project timelines and deliverables.
• Apply current design trends and motion techniques to enhance creative output.
• Support ongoing improvements to creative processes, workflows, and team capabilities.
• Provide occasional support for digital products and web-based creative initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, video production, or digital design.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing motion graphics, video editing, and digital creative work.
• Advanced proficiency in:
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, animation principles, visual design, and video editing best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate both creative and technical concepts effectively.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
• Comfortable working on Mac-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Figma and collaborative design workflows.
• Knowledge of web and digital design best practices.
• Experience with 3D motion graphics or animation tools such as Cinema 4D.
• Interest in expanding into light web and digital design projects.
