Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Role Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support and maintain business-critical applications used within the Eurofins Environment Testing business.
• This role is predominantly focused on application maintenance, troubleshooting, production support, and continuous improvement of existing systems. The successful candidate will also contribute to minor enhancements, feature development, and technical improvements where required.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server, SSIS, ASP.NET Web Forms, IIS, APIs, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Azure Cloud Storage.

Specific Assignments

• Maintain and support business-critical web applications and services.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application, database, and integration issues.
• Develop and implement minor application enhancements and change requests.
• Support and maintain REST API integrations between internal and external systems.
• Develop, support, and monitor SSIS packages and data integration processes.
• Work with Azure Cloud Storage services and related integrations.
• Administer and maintain IIS-hosted web applications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Ensure application reliability, performance, and security.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development and application support.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Proven experience supporting and maintaining enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web Forms (ASPX).
• Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience developing and supporting SSIS packages.
• Experience with JavaScript for application enhancements and user interface functionality.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting IIS-hosted applications.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
• Experience working with Azure Cloud Storage.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with source control and software development lifecycle processes.
