Desk Assistant

Description:

Becker & Company is seeking a dedicated Desk Assistant to join our team. This role involves a variety of administrative and in-house investigative duties, focusing on national insurance claim assignments. The Desk Assistant supports our Desk Investigations team by conducting database and search-engine research, DMV searches, preparing client reports and invoices, and helping identify and preserve relevant online content.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct database and search engine searches for each Desk Investigation assignment.
• Perform paid Department of Mortar Vehicles (DMV) searches as required.
• Prepare and distribute reports and invoices to clients.
• Assist the Desk team in identifying and verifying social media profiles and relevant online content associated with investigation subjects.
• Identify and preserve relevant online content discovered during investigative searches.
• Conduct all searches and information-gathering activities in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and established investigative procedures.
• Perform other duties reasonably related to the position assigned.
