Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other project management software, coordinating all phases of construction scheduling and timeline management.
• Manage project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to guarantee compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor project costs through construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or Procore to maintain financial control and manage change orders efficiently.
• Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Track project progress using construction management software such as Prolog or Primavera P6; prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to oversee construction site activities, verify quality standards, and address any safety or compliance concerns.
• Manage project documentation including schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with demonstrated success in delivering on time and within budget.
• Strong proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6/Primavera P3/P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Prolog or similar tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices using HeavyBid or equivalent systems.
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling principles including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans coordination.
• Hands-on experience with civil 3D modeling software is highly desirable for infrastructure projects involving civil works.
• Ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality compliance.
• Familiarity with construction regulations, permits, contracts, and regulatory compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Construction site experience is essential for understanding on-the-ground challenges related to project execution.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing project schedules coordination and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
