Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Build and implement RESTful APIs following enterprise architecture and design standards.
• Develop and optimize microservices using Spring MVC and Spring Data.
• Work with Kafka producers, consumers, and partitioning for event-driven integrations.
• Design and manage MongoDB schemas, indexes, queries, and aggregation pipelines.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for transactional and reporting requirements.
• Ensure application scalability, high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement exception handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and production support.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Follow secure coding practices and enterprise compliance standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and service decomposition.
• Experience developing REST APIs using JSON and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Knowledge of Kafka producers, consumers, and partitioning.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, document modeling, indexing, and aggregation.
• Experience with SQL query development and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and/or AWS.
• Understanding of CI/CD, unit testing, monitoring, and production support
