Remote Junior Software Engineer (AI Code Evaluation)

We are looking for Junior Software Engineers to partner with a leading global AI Research Lab. In this role, you will help push the boundaries of artificial intelligence capabilities by evaluating AI-generated code, designing complex software engineering problems, and analyzing model reasoning on real-world software development tasks.

This is a 100% remote contractor position offering an industry-leading payout in India, perfect for talented engineers who want to work at the intersection of AI development and advanced software engineering.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

• Code Review & Quality Control: Evaluate AI-generated code for syntax correctness, code quality, efficiency, and architectural design.
• Problem Solving & Content Creation: Write challenging coding problems, provide reference solutions, and build robust test cases.
• Technical Analysis: Review model reasoning on complex software architecture, debugging, and system design.
• Feedback Loop: Provide detailed, structured technical feedback in written English to improve the model’s overall coding performance.

Must-Have Qualifications (Strictly Required)

• Professional Experience: At least one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer at a top-tier technology company. Part of this experience must be within the past 3 years.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly and concisely in written English.
• Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
