UKG Integration Developer

We are seeking an experienced UKG Integration Developer to design, develop, test, and support integrations between UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) and enterprise systems, including UCPath (PeopleSoft), IBM Maximo, and clock/identity systems.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building and deploying inbound and outbound UKG Pro WFM integrations using Boomi / UKG Integration Hub, along with strong SQL, data conversion, and legacy Kronos WFC interface migration experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy inbound and outbound UKG Pro WFM integrations using Boomi, UKG Integration Hub, REST APIs, and SFTP.
• Integrate employee/HR data from UCPath, payroll hours and pay codes, and labor cost details with IBM Maximo.
• Inventory and analyze existing Kronos WFC WIM/Connect interfaces and design replacement integrations.
• Perform field-level data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and conversion for employee, accrual balance, and historical data.
• Validate UKG data, including people, labor levels, pay codes, punches, timecards, schedules, and accrual balances.
• Develop SQL queries and validate data loads across relational databases.
• Support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), parallel payroll testing, and UAT.
• Implement integration error handling, monitoring, alerting, and reconciliation reporting.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to UCLA support teams.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 6+ years of software/integration development experience, including hands-on Kronos/UKG workforce management integrations.
• Proven experience building and deploying UKG Pro WFM integrations using Boomi / UKG Integration Hub.
• Experience with UKG REST APIs and SFTP-based data exchange.
• Strong knowledge of UKG data models, including people, labor levels, pay codes, punches, timecards, accrual balances, and schedules.
• Experience with payroll exports, HR/people imports, and data conversion.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Groovy, or Node.js.
• Experience with JSON, XML, CSV, or fixed-width data formats.
• Knowledge of secure file transfers, file automation, scheduling, and handling sensitive payroll/PII data.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile practices, and Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating Kronos WFC WIM/Connect interfaces to UKG Pro WFM.
• Familiarity with WDM/DCM, Process Manager, and Workflow.
• Boomi certification or UKG Pro WFM integration training.
• Integration experience with PeopleSoft/UCPath, Workday, IBM Maximo, or other HCM/payroll systems.
• AWS serverless experience with Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Step Functions, or EventBridge.
• Healthcare or higher-education industry experience.

Experience:

• UKG Pro WFM integration build: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Boomi Developer Certification or UKG Pro WFM Integration (Required)
