PowerApps Developer - Contract

What roles and responsibilities will be performed by the selected candidate?

• Lead the administration and governance of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including environment strategy, managed environments, security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Define, implement, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to ensure secure and compliant use of Power Platform connectors and services.
• Design, develop, and oversee scalable Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform solutions that support enterprise-wide user adoption and business needs.
• Establish and manage Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes, including solution management, deployment pipelines, release governance, and CI/CD automation.
• Monitor platform health, application performance, usage trends, and operational metrics, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide insights into application adoption, platform utilization, governance compliance, and overall operational effectiveness.
• Evaluate and implement native AI capabilities such as AI Builder and Copilot technologies to improve business processes, automation, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and administrators to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable Power Platform solutions.
• Provide guidance, governance standards, and best practices for Power Platform development teams and citizen developers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform reliability, performance, scalability, security, and user experience.

What is the expectation from the candidate’s current role/profile?

• Demonstrated experience as a Power Platform Architect, Administrator, Lead Developer, or Platform Engineer managing enterprise-scale Power Platform implementations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Power Platform administration, governance, environment management, security controls, and DLP policy management.
• Proven track record of designing and supporting large-scale Power Apps and automation solutions with high availability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience implementing ALM strategies, deployment pipelines, DevOps practices, and controlled release management across multiple environments.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform licensing, security architecture, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI Builder, Copilot, and other Microsoft AI capabilities to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.
• Ability to analyze platform metrics, develop monitoring frameworks, and provide actionable insights through dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, establish best practices, mentor team members, and drive adoption of Power Platform capabilities across the organization
