About the Opportunity:

The AI FIRST ANDROID DEVELOPER role is designed to enhance and scale the mobile experiences of the organization’s digital marketplace. This position integrates AI as a core development tool to increase efficiency and quality in software delivery. The developer will collaborate across teams to build customer-facing applications that directly impact the marketplace’s performance and user engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Android features for buyer and seller marketplace applications
• Build user interfaces primarily using Jetpack Compose, maintaining legacy XML where necessary
• Write and maintain unit tests to meet continuous integration standards
• Utilize AI tools daily to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and platform teams
• Pair with iOS developers to ensure consistent product behavior across platforms

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years professional Android development experience
• Proficient in Kotlin and modern Android UI development
• Experience shipping production Android applications
• Active use of AI development tools with the ability to critically assess AI outputs
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Annual salary range: $85,000.00 to $125,000.00 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors
