About Grayn

Grayn is a proactive AI for consumer marketing teams, built inside Slack. It watches a team’s Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4 and the rest of their marketing stack around the clock, and tells them in Slack what changed, why it changed, and what to do next. No dashboards to open, no prompts to write. Grayn posts first, so teams catch wasted spend before it shows up in next month’s report.

Most marketing teams only find out something went wrong after the budget is already gone. Grayn fixes that, and now we need people who can put it in front of the teams who need it most.

We’re a small, bootstrapped team building something genuinely useful. We believe AI should hand people their time back, not replace them, and we want people who’ll help shape the culture here, not just fill a seat.

The role

This is a cold calling role and your first step into a sales career in tech. You’ll call marketing teams at mid-market and enterprise companies, find out who’s a real fit for Grayn, and book them in with our closer. You’re always welcome to stay on that call, see how deals get closed, and learn from it.

You don’t need any sales or software experience. If you worked retail while getting your degree, you already have the skills that matter most. You’ve talked to hundreds of strangers, handled difficult customers, stayed calm through the rush, and probably hit a sales target or two along the way. We’ll teach you the rest.

What you’ll do

· Make outbound calls to marketing teams at mid-market and enterprise companies

· Ask the right questions to qualify who’s a real fit

· Book qualified prospects into a call with our closer

· Log every call and outcome in the CRM (we’ll show you how)

· Hit weekly call targets

What we’re looking for

· A bachelor’s or associate degree in any subject, completed or finishing soon

· Retail, restaurant, or other customer-facing work experience

· Confident on the phone and comfortable talking to people you don’t know

· Fluent, clear English

· Can hear a “no” and dial the next number with the same energy

· Self-motivated and reliable without anyone watching over your shoulder

· Authorized to work in the US

Nice to have

· Hit sales, upsell, or sign-up targets in a retail or service job

· Any phone sales, call center, or cold calling experience

What you get

· One week of paid onboarding covering the product and the call script before you go live

· Hourly pay plus tiered commission. The more you close, the better your rate gets, and we’ll walk you through the numbers on your first call

· About 10 hours a week, with your own call blocks set within US business hours

· Direct work with the founders, so you learn how a startup actually sells, not just how to read a script

· We’re planning to open up equity (ESOP) to early team members

· A real shot at a full-time sales role as we scale
