Job Description

At eBay, we’re more than a global ecommerce leader — we’re changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets around the world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts.

Our customers are our compass, authenticity thrives, bold ideas are welcome, and everyone can bring their unique selves to work — every day. We’re in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.

Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.

About the team and the role:

We are seeking a highly driven and proactive Product Manager to join eBay’s Conversion Programs team. In this role, you will take charge of and develop customer-facing communications that drive conversion, revenue, and sustained customer engagement.

You will be responsible for crafting and delivering the strategy for a multimillion-dollar communications portfolio passionate about Email, Push Notifications, and Native Hub Notifications. You will innovate on how and when we engage customers across the funnel, using experimentation and data to continuously improve outcomes.

What you will accomplish:

  • Own and complete the product roadmap in close partnership with Engineering, Data Science, and Build
  • Drive operational completion by finding opportunities to increase experimentation velocity and improve cross-functional collaboration
  • Identify and size opportunities to enhance the portfolio, using data to forecast business impact and prioritize initiatives
  • Develop and lead A/B tests, including hypothesis development, experiment setup, and target definition
  • Author clear product requirements (PRDs) and partner with Engineering to deliver high-quality execution
  • Develop and maintain project plans, lead dependencies, and ensure teams are aligned and execution-ready
  • Measure performance against targets and provide data-driven recommendations on scaling and optimization
  • Continuously collect insights through customer feedback, market research, competitor analysis, and industry trends to inform product innovation

What you will bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, business strategy, consulting, or growth marketing, with a focus on customer conversion; 2+ years in e-commerce required
  • Validated experience owning and optimizing performance-based communications (email, push, in-app, or similar), including audience strategy, trigger logic, messaging, and measurement
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX and key design principles across email, push, in-app notification or similar
  • Marketplace experience (e.g., Uber, Airbnb, LinkedIn) strongly preferred
  • Confirmed experience partnering closely with Engineering teams (front-end and back-end) using Agile methodologies; strong technical understanding of building products and communications from the ground up
  • Proven ability to execute with precision and deliver high-quality experiences in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
  • Experience developing and optimizing performance-driven email and notification campaigns within e-commerce environments
