Logistics and Support Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics and Support Manager to lead our supply chain operations, streamline logistics processes, and enhance overall support functions. Duties

• Develop and implement category management strategies to optimize procurement and inventory control across various product lines.
• Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) to coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and improve freight efficiency.
• Manage warehouse operations utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 to ensure accurate inventory levels and order fulfillment.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance shipping & receiving workflows, materials handling, and overall logistics efficiency.
• Supervise 3PL providers, ensuring contractual compliance, performance standards, and timely delivery of goods.
• Coordinate picking & packing activities to maximize accuracy and productivity while maintaining safety standards.
• Utilize data analysis skills to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics management with a strong background in supply chain operations, warehouse experience, and materials handling.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and related software tools.
• Knowledge of 3PL logistics providers, shipping & receiving procedures, and freight regulations.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data for strategic decision-making.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Effective leadership capabilities with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments.
