About the Role

FE.Oi is seeking a Frontend Engineer for a full-time, remote position focused on developing and maintaining web application interfaces. You will build responsive layouts, integrate frontend components with backend services, improve application performance, and ensure compatibility across different browsers.

Working closely with designers and backend engineers, you will contribute to end-to-end features, participate in code reviews, and maintain standards for code quality and accessibility. The role also involves refining requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving the overall user experience across products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.

• Build responsive layouts and mobile-friendly interfaces that provide consistent experiences across devices and screen sizes.

• Integrate frontend components with backend services to support application functionality.

• Optimize web application performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to implement features and deliver cohesive user experiences.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining clean, reliable, and maintainable code.

• Apply accessibility practices when developing and refining user interfaces.

• Help clarify and refine project requirements to support effective implementation.

• Troubleshoot frontend issues and work toward reliable solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement across development practices, tools, and user experiences.

Required Qualifications

• Strong frontend development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.

• Knowledge of web development and responsive web design, with the ability to build accessible, mobile-friendly user interfaces.

• Software development skills and an understanding of backend web development to collaborate effectively on end-to-end features.

• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.

• Familiarity with software testing practices and modern build tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and other team members.

• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience is also accepted.
