Position Overview

As a Web Developer Intern at Zeebugs, you will work on real client projects and internal initiatives alongside experienced developers and designers. This is a hands-on learning role where you will take clear tasks, ask the right questions and ship quality work that goes live.

You will be expected to learn quickly, take ownership of your tasks and communicate openly. We also encourage the use of AI tools in your daily workflow for research, coding support, debugging and documentation, while still checking everything for correctness.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, mobile-friendly websites and landing pages
• Turn designs into clean, working front-end code
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks
• Support the team on real client projects from build to deployment
• Fix bugs and improve website speed, performance and SEO-friendliness
• Use AI tools for coding support, debugging, research and documentation
• Collaborate with developers, designers and project leads to meet deadlines
• Write clean, readable and well-organized code

Requirements

• Solid basics in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser behavior
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• A portfolio, GitHub profile or sample projects (personal, academic or freelance)
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Strong willingness to learn, take feedback and work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines in a remote team setup
• Comfort using AI tools and critically checking their output

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React, Next.js, WordPress or similar tools
• Basic knowledge of SEO and website performance optimization
• Familiarity with APIs, Node.js or databases
• Previous internship, freelance or open-source experience

Schedule and Location

• Fully remote
• Flexible working hours with regular check-ins with the team
• Part-time or full-time options (duration: add here, e.g. 3 months)

Technical Requirements

• Reliable internet connection
• Laptop or computer able to run a code editor, browser and design tools smoothly
• Working microphone for team calls
