Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to build and maintain modern web applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, and Microsoft SQL Server. This remote position involves developing responsive user interfaces, building server-side services, integrating REST APIs, and creating efficient database solutions to support application functionality and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate brings extensive software development experience and a strong understanding of application design, code quality, and performance optimization. You will collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable solutions while contributing to software architecture discussions, code reviews, and ongoing application improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and development tools such as Vite.

• Build and maintain client-side applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end development practices.

• Develop and integrate server-side services and REST APIs using NodeJS and ExpressJS.

• Design, write, unit test, and document application code in accordance with project requirements.

• Write and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, joins, views, and stored procedures to support application features and reporting needs.

• Prepare clear reports, requirements, user stories, and design documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Apply problem-solving and software design skills to improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.

• Participate in software design and architecture discussions to address functional and non-functional requirements.

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the development process.

• Review code, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to consistent engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least eight years of software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and front-end development practices.

• Experience developing server-side applications with NodeJS and building REST APIs, preferably using ExpressJS.

• Advanced SQL skills, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for responsive and accessible web development.

• Experience with Git and modern source control workflows.

• Experience working in a Microsoft Windows development environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vite or similar tooling for React development.

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance APIs.

• Familiarity with automated testing practices and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra.

• Familiarity with healthcare or insurance domains and related data standards.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly pay rate is $60–$70 on a W-2 basis. Applicants must be willing and able to work under W-2 employment terms due to client requirements.
