POSITION DETAILS

Role: Senior Technical Lead – Python/AWS, Private Markets

Contract: 9+ months

Location: Fully remote with intermittent travel to Greater Philadelphia, PA

Interview: One-hour Zoom interview

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Strong production Python development experience building applications, APIs, integrations, or data workflows.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience. Candidates must have personally built or implemented production solutions—not simply worked on applications hosted in AWS.
• Direct Private Equity or Private Markets exposure, with an understanding of relevant investment, private-asset, fund, or valuation-support workflows.
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate those processes into practical technology solutions.

Candidates do not need to personally value assets—that is the business team’s responsibility. They do need meaningful exposure to private-markets business processes. Simply building unrelated technology at a PE firm is not enough.

Fund accounting, NAV oversight, fund-administrator integrations, and valuation-support technology are helpful but not mandatory. AI and React are secondary; prioritize Python, AWS, and PE/private-markets relevance.
