About The Role We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic IT and app development business on a remote, permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web and data solutions that cater to a diverse client base, with a particular emphasis on the transportation sector. Reporting directly to the Lead Developer, the Full Stack Developer will be part of a collaborative team of ten professionals, working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality technological solutions.

The role involves working on both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across platforms. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Developer, or in a similar IT role.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in NodeJS with demonstrated experience in developing scalable server-side applications.
• Strong database skills, particularly with MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as VueJS, Angular, or React.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Must be based in the UK and eligible to work within the country.
• Hardworking, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing new web and data technology solutions to meet client requirements.
• Updating and enhancing existing applications to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project objectives are met.
• Participating in project meetings, code reviews, and testing processes to maintain high-quality standards.
• Working under strict deadlines and KPIs to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Handling a wide range of web and data technologies, demonstrating versatility and technical proficiency.
• Demonstrating strong skills in both front-end and back-end development to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Maintaining clear documentation and adhering to best practices in software development.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skill sets and project outcomes.

Benefits Our client offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The role is a Monday to Friday remote position, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
