Job Title: AI Engineer Python and LLM

Duration: Long Term

Location: Atlanta, GA - Remote

Must Have: Python Programming, LLM, RAG, Insurance Industry Experience.

Minimum 9+ years of experience

Background/Scope

• The squad builds agentic protocols that interoperate with other agentic protocols across the client’s customer base. The agents validate, transform, ingest and structure data, turn unstructured data into standardized formats, then hand it to agents on other platforms
• Longer term vision (not day 1): build and fine-tune existing LLMs - custom, domain-specific models for their agents

Day-to-day

• Enhance and support existing AI applications and agents
• Design and build new AI capabilities for business workflows, analysis and decision-making
• Build reusable foundations to develop, evaluate, deploy and operate AI
• Work with business stakeholders and SMEs to bring domain knowledge into the systems
• Explore model adaptation and LLM post-training where it beats prompting or retrieval

Must-have

• Strong Python and production-grade engineering (build, test, deploy)
• Hands-on LLM applications in production, beyond prototypes
• Knowing which LLM fits when (reasoning, latency, cost, context, tool use)
• Fine-tuning (SFT, PEFT; DPO/RLHF/RFT a plus) and ML background
• RAG, tool calling, structured outputs, agent orchestration
• AI evaluation at scale, plus prompt and agent instruction versioning
• Monitoring and observability across the AI lifecycle
