About the Role

We are looking for experienced Backend Developers with strong Java expertise to join a long-term project. The ideal candidates will have solid experience in microservices architecture, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and software testing, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Candidates must be based in Spain and legally authorized to work in their country of residence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8 and Java 11 .
• Experience with Spring Framework , particularly Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring MVC.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture , RESTful APIs, API composition, OpenAPI, and Swagger.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Good knowledge of software testing, including JUnit, Mockito, WireMock, MockMVC, and Spring Test.
• Experience with databases and persistence technologies, including JPA, Oracle, and JDBC.
• Familiarity with Maven and build automation tools.
• Strong teamwork, communication, prioritization, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with service discovery, circuit breakers, OpenShift, and distributed tracing.
• Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with feature flags.
• Familiarity with database migration tools such as Liquibase and Flyway.
• Knowledge of reactive programming and futures.
• Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube, PMD, and Checkstyle.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
