Junior AI/Prompt Engineer

Job Description ABOUT THE JOB

• Design, develop, test, and optimize prompts to improve the accuracy, consistency, and relevance of AI-generated outputs.
• Build AI agents that can execute tasks, follow instructions, interact with external tools, and connect to APIs.
• Develop Python-based applications integrating LLMs through APIs such as OpenAI.
• Implement AI workflows using prompt templates, structured outputs, function calling, and multi-step task execution.
• Explore and use AI development frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools.
• Contribute to the implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to help AI applications retrieve and use relevant information.
• Test and evaluate AI-generated responses, identify potential issues such as hallucinations, and continuously improve agent performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Document AI workflows, test cases, and implementation approaches to ensure maintainability and continuous improvement.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in AI application development, or a related technical role.
• You have a good understanding of Python programming, including API integration, data processing, and error handling.
• You understand prompt engineering principles and can design and refine prompts for different tasks and use cases.
• You are interested in building AI agents and automating workflows using LLM-based technologies.
• You are familiar with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and basic software development practices.
• You have basic knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, or are willing to learn them.
• You have a basic understanding of RAG, embeddings, and vector databases, or are motivated to develop your knowledge in these areas.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning.
• You enjoy experimenting with emerging technologies and turning ideas into practical, working solutions.
• You can communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
