Role Description The Web Developer role at Meka Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The person in this role will design, build, and maintain web applications and websites that support the group’s diverse business units. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing front-end user interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, and ensuring responsive, accessible, and secure web experiences. The Web Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and update existing platforms as needed. The role also involves testing, documentation, and staying current with web development best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including experience creating user-friendly, responsive interfaces.
• Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development and Web Development skills, with the ability to build and maintain scalable, secure web applications.
• Candidates should possess robust Programming skills relevant to modern web development stacks (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript and one or more server-side languages or frameworks).
• Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple projects, and meet delivery timelines.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and experience with version control, databases, and testing tools are beneficial.
• Prior experience in corporate or industrial domains, and familiarity with integrating web solutions into business workflows, will be an advantage.
