Software Engineer Networking Systems Development - J50397
Role & responsibilities
Responsibilities.
Design, implement, and maintain core networking, virtualization and cloud
features
Develop high-performance, multithreaded applications
in C/C++ and Python on Linux platforms.
Participate in a full software development life cycle: requirements, design, coding,
code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams hardware, QA, and product
management — to deliver robust, reliable, and high-performance networking
solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex field and customer issues.
Contribute to build automation, test frameworks, and continuous integration
systems.
Essential requirements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or
related field.
3–5 years of software development experience in a networking environment.
Solid programming experience in C/C++ and scripting in Python or Shell.
Exposure to / Certifications in Cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud
automation tech like Terraform, Packer, Cloud Formation will be an added
advantage. Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix internals and socket
programming.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Socket programming
Excellent DSA, problem-solving and debugging skills
