AI Product Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Define and execute the AI product vision, strategy, roadmap, and product development priorities aligned with business objectives.
• Identify business opportunities for AI, Generative AI, and automation through market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
• Translate business requirements and customer needs into product requirements, user stories, and measurable success criteria.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery to prototyping, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, software developers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-powered products.
• Evaluate the feasibility, scalability, accuracy, cost, and business value of AI/ML and LLM-based solutions.
• Prioritize AI use cases involving LLMs, RAG, AI agents, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation.
• Define product KPIs, adoption metrics, customer satisfaction measures, model performance indicators, and ROI targets.
• Ensure AI products meet requirements for data privacy, security, responsible AI, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Conduct product experiments, user testing, A/B testing, and performance analysis to improve product quality and user experience.
• Develop business cases, product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and product launch plans.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and competitor offerings to identify product innovation opportunities.
• Manage product backlogs, sprint priorities, stakeholder expectations, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and business outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Typically 7 to 12 years of experience in product management, technical product management, software product development, or AI/ML product delivery.
• Demonstrated experience defining product vision, managing roadmaps, prioritizing features, and delivering products from concept to launch.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI agents, and the practical limitations of AI systems.
• Experience translating complex technical capabilities into customer-centric products and measurable business outcomes.
• Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools, SQL, experimentation, KPI tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, design thinking, user research, and product discovery practices.
• Experience working with engineering, data science, design, sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI governance, model evaluation, data privacy, responsible AI, and risk mitigation.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance customer needs, technical feasibility, business priorities, product quality, and time-to-market.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, change management, and driving product adoption.
• Prior experience launching AI-powered products, enterprise SaaS solutions, or intelligent automation platforms is highly desirable.
