AI Engineer, Sr. (WFH)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring on behalf of a client seeking a Senior LLM Engineer to design, develop, and deploy generative AI solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building production-ready applications using large language models, modern AI frameworks, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

You will work closely with engineering teams, business subject matter experts, and data teams to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions. The role also involves contributing to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and the ongoing improvement of LLM-based systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop generative AI applications and LLM-based systems using LangChain and RAG pipelines.

• Implement prompt engineering techniques and agent-based frameworks to build intelligent, context-aware solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and advance the technical roadmap for LLM initiatives.

• Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, production-ready AI solutions.

• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization.

• Work with business subject matter experts and data teams to align AI models and applications with real-world use cases.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for AI system development.

• Hands-on experience with LangChain and modern LLM frameworks.

• A solid understanding of LLM concepts, including prompt tuning, embeddings, vector databases, and agent workflows.

• A background in machine learning or software engineering, with the ability to approach problems from a system-level perspective.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
