The Software Engineer will be an integral part of the Worldwide Manufacturing Operations (WMO), Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) team, responsible for the design and development of test fixture software for semi-automated and fully automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.

• Design, develop, debug, and deploy software for functional testing on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
• Identify requirements and propose innovative and effective solutions to enhance and scale test automation capabilities.
• Collaborate with project engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Maintain software systems, including source control, versioning, and future enhancement support.
• Design and manage database systems for reliable data logging, analysis, and reporting.
• Support system integration activities, ensuring seamless interoperability between hardware and software components.
• Conduct regular system evaluations to ensure compliance with CTE safety and quality standards.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve project objectives and strategic goals.
• Provide technical support to operations teams, including knowledge transfer and sharing of Best-Known Methods (BKMs).

• Stay updated with advancements in test automation technologies and proactively drive adoption of relevant innovations.

  **Mandatory Skills

  **Programming - Strong experience in C# / .NET development, including: - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - WPF development - MVVM architecture - Data binding - State management - Dependency Injection - Visual Studio IDE - Proficiency in C and Python programming languages. - Experience in data acquisition and GUI application development. - Hands-on experience with source code version control systems (Bitbucket / Git).

  **Communication Protocols
  - Strong experience with industrial communication protocols, including:
    - RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485
    - DeviceNet
    - EtherCAT
    - Modbus
    - Digital I/O and Analog I/O
    - TCP/IP Socket communication
    - VISA interfaces
  
      **Hardware Skills
      - Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
      - Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems such as NI cDAQ and Beckhoff I/O modules.
      - Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including motion control systems.
      - Experience working with sensors including thermal, vibration, motion, pressure, and related instrumentation.
  
        **Ancillary Skills
        - Ability to independently manage software development projects with minimal supervision.
        - Exposure to manufacturing, semiconductor, or lab-based test environments is highly preferred.
  
          **Qualifications & Experience
          - Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
          - 4u20136 years of relevant industry experience in software development, test automation, or hardware-software integration.

            - Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with international stakeholders.
            - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
            - Strong presentation and documentation abilities.
