AI Data Analyst, SQL Revenue & Growth Analytics (Claude LLMs)- Remote

About the Role

Were hiring an AI-first data analyst to work closely with senior revenue leadership at a global software company selling products used by millions of people and businesses worldwide.

Right now, a lot of time goes into manually combining data from dashboards, spreadsheets, web analytics, and product analytics to answer business questions and prepare leadership reporting. Your job is to take that over, then go further: automate it, build systems that make answers faster every month, and flag what the data shows before anyone asks.

What You’ll Work On

• Spot analysis on revenue questions take loosely framed business questions and return clear, evidence-backed answers
• Sales channel and sales pattern analysis across channels, product lines, and regions
• Track the path from install through activation, trial, purchase, and renewal, connecting acquisition sources to what actually converts
• Evolve today’s static dashboards into a self-updating, automated reporting system
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of data definitions, sources, and recurring analyses
• From month three, help prepare leadership reports and presentations

Must Have

• Real, daily AI fluency (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) for actual analysis work writing/debugging SQL, analyzing data not just drafting emails
• Strong analysis fundamentals knowing which question to ask and when a number looks wrong
• SQL you’re comfortable using independently, and strong spreadsheet skills
• A systems mindset that turns one-off analyses into repeatable, automated workflows
• Clear written English for async, written-first communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with SaaS, subscription, or software revenue data
• Product analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel) or web analytics (GA4)
• Python for data work
• Snowflake, BigQuery, or another cloud data warehouse
