Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the organization’s network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable network connectivity, system availability, network security, and smooth communication across office locations and operational facilities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, LAN/WAN administration, Wi-Fi management, and network security.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliable connectivity.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity issues.
• Configure and manage VLANs, IP addressing, routing, and switching.
• Monitor network traffic and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.
• Manage VPN connectivity and secure remote access.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and third-party vendors for connectivity and support.
• Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and firmware updates.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration backups, asset inventories, and technical documentation.
• Investigate network incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Support IT infrastructure requirements for offices, operational facilities, and multiple locations, where applicable.
• Assist with network expansion, new installations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and information security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in network administration or network engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.

Required Technical Skills

• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP.
• Routing and switching: VLANs, routing protocols, and switch configuration.
• Network security: Firewalls, access control lists, and VPNs.
• Wireless networking and access point management.
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Network documentation and configuration backup management.
