AI Project Development Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced AI Project Development Managers to lead AI projects from planning through deployment. The ideal candidates will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of AI solutions involving large language models (LLMs), generative AI (AIGC), and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Requirements & Implementation: Translate business needs into actionable project plans and coordinate the development of RAG-based knowledge systems, fine-tuned models, AI agents, and intelligent applications.
• Schedule & Quality Control: Monitor project progress, manage milestones, ensure deliverable quality, and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate AI engineers, software developers, product teams, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient collaboration.
• Risk & Budget Management: Identify project risks, manage resources, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Client Relations: Communicate with clients, manage changing requirements, present project results, and oversee final acceptance and delivery.
• Process Improvement: Document project outcomes and continuously improve project management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of technology project management experience, including at least 1 year managing AI/LLM-related projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI projects from concept to production.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, model fine-tuning, AI agents, multimodal AI, and vector databases.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or equivalent platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
• Experience with enterprise AI applications or AI platforms.
• AI development skills and experience building proof-of-concept (PoC) prototypes.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and bid documents.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI agent development.
• Experience in finance, healthcare, retail, or other industry-specific AI applications.

Pay: $93,400.00 - $200,000.00 per year
