Job Description
Remote Electrical Engineering Designer
Location: Remote (Must reside in Eastern Time Zone states only)
*Must be able to train for 2 weeks in Roanoke, VA.*
(Company pays for hotel/travel expenses)
Schedule Monday-Friday 8-5Compensation
$60-85k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + full comprehensive benefits

What You’ll Do
- Create and develop detailed electrical and shelter design drawings
- Interpret bid documents, customer specs, and supplied drawings
- Perform calculations (AC service, HVAC, energy, structural)
- Prepare work orders and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers
- Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and engineering teams
- Assist with additional design and engineering tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Architectural design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (required)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Solid math skills (algebra, geometry, formulas)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR equivalent hands-on experience
- 0–5+ years of electrical design experience (level-dependent)
- Experience with electrical systems design preferred
- Experience with AutoCad and Revit
