Indonesian Speakers for AI project

We are seeking fluent Indonesian speakers to be among the many audible voices of an AI chatbot. This job pays a high rate for the use of your recording, which may be used for machine learning or front-facing use as the voice of a video or audio file.

************** There are several steps but they’re logical and easy to do! ****************

First, the DETAILS:

• There are no scripts to read. Instead, if you are booked, you will do a single recording session, casually conversing with another same-language speaker (whom we will provide via Zoom) about whatever subjects come to mind. Simple concept! You can record from your computer in a quiet room, and your online producer (who we also provide) will suggest you try different character styles of voices, from silly to serious, calm to excited.
• If your audition is accepted and you are booked: You will record for 3-4 hours in a live session via Zoom, which we will then edit into one finished hour of VO.
• Each finished hour pays US$2000.00 with a contract for a full buyout of your recording. We will be recording many speakers over the next 3 months. If you do well, you may be invited for additional, high-paying future work.
• No sound editing is required. WE edit all booked session work!
• There are no charges or fees to pay – ever. We’ve hired many talents in multiple languages who applied from Indeed.
• To apply, you must first send in a 60-90-second audition by Monday night, Oct 19th!

There are no interviews and no specific requirements, except you must be age 18 or over.

It should only take a few minutes to record your audition from your own location. If you book the job, we’ll let you know and you’ll probably record from the same location (details below).

HOW TO AUDITION:

• There are no set scripts. Create your own short script for each audition... and we encourage you to select your own characters/styles if they fall into any of the following categories:
• Strong Emotional Styles (Creepy voice, Rambling voice, etc.)
• Characters (voices from popular movies, shows, games, etc.)
• Celebrity imitations
• Other popular media/culture voices. You DO NOT have to do impersonations.

Audition for at least 5 different voice styles to demonstrate range.

Each impression audition should be a separate file, at least 15 seconds of mp3 audio. You can also edit them together into one continuous file, if that’s easier to do.

You may also submit existing short MP3 samples from your existing VO portfolio.

Samples are for evaluation purposes ONLY. 

• MIC TECHNIQUE: Keep your mouth at least six inches away from the mic, even if you’re recording on a phone. Listen back to see if there is distortion (fuzziness, pops, clicks) before sending. If so, move further back from the mic and try again. Your recording must be clean and clear.
• You can talk about any topic that fits with the style of voice you are characterizing.

Please note auditions are NOT paid. They are your application for these paying jobs. Your audition will be reviewed only to demonstrate your voice for client consideration.

• And note there is no interview for this job. We are looking for eight talented speakers. These languages tend to get limited responses, increasing your chances of booking.
