Senior Java Developer

Job Description

MD Reality Labs is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, database management, and backend system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and application security practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Follow software development best practices, design patterns, and version control workflows.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend development.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
