Frontend Developer

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Frontend Developer at Novo Club by ParagonCorp. The Frontend Developer will implement user-facing features for Novo Club’s web platforms, translating design concepts into responsive, accessible interfaces. Daily tasks include building and maintaining modern web pages, optimizing performance across devices, and collaborating with designers, backend developers, and student community leaders. The role also involves troubleshooting frontend issues, refining user experience based on feedback, and contributing ideas to improve digital engagement for the student community. The position is suited for individuals who can work independently, manage part-time hours, and communicate effectively in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Responsive Web Design and cross-browser compatibility to ensure consistent user experiences.
• Foundational knowledge of Web Development and Software Development practices, such as version control and testing.
• Basic understanding of Back-End Web Development to collaborate effectively with backend teams.
• Ability to translate design mockups into clean, maintainable code and accessible interfaces.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a student-focused environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
