We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Video Editing & Production Specialist. Your experience, knowledge in video editing, production, and graphic design will help bring our projects to life, engaging viewers through entertaining to impactful content. This is a non paid volunteer position designed for individuals eager to develop their skills while making a meaningful contribution to our mission.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, ensuring high-quality output aligned with project goals
• Design engaging graphics and visual elements utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign to enhance video content
• Incorporate motion graphics and special effects with Adobe After Effects to add visual flair and professionalism to videos
• Collaborate with team members to plan and storyboard video projects, ensuring creative vision is accurately realized
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining consistent brand messaging
• Maintain organized archives of video assets, project files, and production resources for easy access and future use
• Assist in capturing photography for promotional materials when needed, supporting overall content creation efforts

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing with long or short format videos. Personal social media account can count. Any portfolio demonstrating previous work using any of these tools such as I movie, Adobe Creative Suite tools, such as Premiere Pro or Capcut, Final Cut Pro or Da Vinci.
• Good understanding of video editing, story telling to production workflows from concept development through post-production.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment
• Journalism background or experience is a plus
