UX / Product Designer

Summary

At Remote Crew, we’re partnering with a long-established, Stockholm-based interior e-commerce company looking for a UX / Product Designer for a 6-month project . You’ll join a 20-year-old business that sells wallpapers, murals, posters, and canvas prints, and you’ll help revamp their poster and canvas product experience.

You’ll work as an embedded member of a small, senior product team, reporting to their in-house Product Designer.

Salary: Up to €30/h

Location: Remote (Europe)

Contract Duration: 6 months

What You’ll Do

• Design intuitive, engaging experiences for an e-commerce platform.
• Lead the revamp of the poster and canvas product line.
• Work closely with the in-house Product Designer, who guides the overall process.
• Translate business and customer needs into clear UX and product solutions.
• Improve the customer journey across the platform.
• Collaborate daily with frontend engineers and the Product Manager.
• Use Figma to design, prototype, and iterate.
• Use AI tools like Claude to speed up your design workflow.
• Join daily standups and team discussions as a full team member.
• Write UX copy where needed to support the customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• 5 to 6+ years of experience in UX or Product Design.
• Proven experience designing digital products and user experiences.
• Mandatory e-commerce experience.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of your daily design process.
• Strong grasp of UX principles and user-centred design.
• Experience working closely with product, engineering, and business teams.
• Clear communicator who can explain design decisions simply.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while staying highly collaborative.
• Comfortable with Figma as your main design tool.

Nice to Have

• UX copywriting skills.
• Experience in retail, interior design, or other consumer-focused e-commerce.
• History of working closely with frontend development teams.
