About The Role The TAROX AG is seeking a skilled Shopware Web Developer (m/w/d) to join its dynamic IT team in Lünen. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development, technical optimization, and maintenance of the company’s Shopware 6 e-commerce platforms. Your expertise will be vital in developing and customizing plugins, extensions, and interfaces to enhance the functionality and performance of the online stores. You will work closely with the marketing team to implement new features, landing pages, and digital campaigns, ensuring that the e-commerce environment aligns with business objectives and delivers an excellent user experience. Additionally, you will monitor website performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital sales channels. The role also offers an opportunity to support the development of the corporate website based on WordPress, providing a versatile and engaging work environment.

Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess several years of experience in Shopware development, particularly with Shopware 6. Strong proficiency in PHP, Symfony, Twig, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Experience in plugin development and API integrations is highly desirable. A solid understanding of e-commerce processes, user experience (UX), and website performance optimization is required. Candidates should demonstrate a structured, autonomous, and solution-oriented working style, coupled with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Reliability, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility are also important qualities for this position.

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop, optimize, and maintain the company’s Shopware 6 platforms to ensure top performance and security.
• Design and implement custom plugins, extensions, and API integrations to meet specific business needs.
• Collaborate directly with the marketing team to develop and deploy new functionalities, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Support technical aspects of marketing initiatives, including product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor website and shop performance, analyze data, and implement ongoing improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly through troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, procurement, and product management to align development efforts with business goals.
• Optional: Assist in the further development of the corporate website using WordPress, contributing to a cohesive digital presence.
