Revenue Recovery Wizard Entry-Level (Virginia or Florida Only)

Revenue Recovery Wizards is looking for curious, detail-focused problem-solvers to join our remote team. As an Entry-Level Revenue Recovery Wizard, you will investigate denied healthcare claims, identify missing information or errors, and help recover revenue that might otherwise be lost.

No medical billing experience is required. We are more interested in how you think, how carefully you work, and whether you genuinely enjoy tracking down answers.

What You’ll Do

• Investigate denied healthcare claims by reviewing claim history, payer responses, notes, and supporting information.
• Follow the clues in insurance denials to identify missing details, incorrect information, or other causes of nonpayment.
• Research payer rules, online resources, portals, and internal systems to determine the correct next step.
• Identify patterns and recurring issues that may point to a larger billing problem.
• Communicate clearly and precisely with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and teammates.
• Document your research, actions, and findings in accurate, easy-to-follow notes.
• Keep asking “why” until you understand what happened and how the claim may be resolved.

• Ability to dedicate scheduled work hours exclusively to RRW duties in a private, interruption-free workspace, without simultaneous caregiving, homeschooling, other employment, or recurring personal responsibilities.
• You live in Florida or Virginia.

This is not a position for someone who wants to follow a checklist without thinking ahead. Successful Wizards investigate, question, verify, and use good judgment.

What We’re Looking For

• No prior medical billing experience is required; we will train the right person.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
• Careful attention to detail and written accuracy.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to learn new software and navigate multiple online systems.
• Availability to work 25 to 40 hours per week.
• Availability on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with some flexibility possible.
• Florida or Virginia residency is required.

Compensation and Growth

• Starting pay of $15.00 per hour.
• Quarterly increases of $1.50 per hour during the first year, with the opportunity to earn up to $21.00 per hour in year one.
