About the Role

FE.Oi is looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and maintain user interfaces for its web applications. This is a full-time, remote position suited to a developer who understands modern frontend technologies, responsive design, and the importance of creating accessible, reliable user experiences.

You’ll work closely with designers and backend engineers to implement features, integrate frontend components with backend services, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance. The role also involves participating in code reviews, refining requirements, and maintaining high standards for code quality and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain responsive user interfaces for web applications.

•Develop frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.

•Implement responsive layouts that provide consistent experiences across devices and screen sizes.

•Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.

•Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

Required Qualifications

•Strong frontend development skills and experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.

•Knowledge of web development principles and responsive web design.

•Understanding of accessibility and mobile-friendly interface development.

•Familiarity with backend web development concepts and the integration of frontend and backend components.

•Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.

•Understanding of software testing practices and modern frontend build tools.

•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality.

•Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers.

•Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•Equivalent practical experience may also be considered in place of a degree.
