We are seeking a highly skilled individual to take the helm as a hybrid Experience and Content Designer for a pivotal contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you won’t just be contributing; you’ll be driving key digital product initiatives from concept through to successful launch, making a significant impact on critical Q1 product roadmap goals. This is your chance to own the entire design lifecycle, from crafting intuitive user flows to developing powerful content strategies across both native mobile apps and responsive web experiences. What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end experience design (UX) and content strategy for both native mobile and responsive web platforms.
• Translate complex concepts and intricate user flows into clear, intuitive digital designs, complemented by exceptional, user-friendly copy.
• Build, document, structure, and meticulously manage content assets within enterprise content management systems, with a focus on Contentful.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and content partners to establish scalable content architecture and ensure smooth product releases.
• Take full ownership of feature initiatives from initial concept development through to completion, actively participating in design critiques and content reviews to refine and perfect.
• Contribute significantly to the design and content strategies for next-generation digital initiatives, including groundbreaking AI-powered search tools.

Essential Qualifications

• You must be authorized to work in the United States.
• You must not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
• You must be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position).
• 5+ years of senior-level professional experience seamlessly blending Experience Design (UX) and Content Design/Strategy.
• Proven hands-on expertise with enterprise-level Content Management Systems (CMS), with a strong preference for Contentful.
• Demonstrated track record of full end-to-end ownership across both web and native mobile application environments.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard design and project management tools, including Figma and Jira, within macOS environments.
• A robust portfolio showcasing clear examples of both visual UX design solutions and comprehensive end-to-end content strategy/writing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean team environment, effectively collaborating across distributed U.S. time zones (Mountain, Central, Eastern).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience working within or adapting to regulated industry environments (e.g., Healthcare, FinTech).
• Prior experience designing user experiences or developing content models for AI-powered search tools or features.
• Familiarity with cloud code usage or technical design-to-development handover workflows.
