Job Description

London Hair Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to support the launch and ongoing clinical governance of our specialist hair restoration clinic in Marylebone, London.

This is a flexible, predominantly remote opportunity, with on-site attendance as required. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our clinic operates safely, professionally and in accordance with CQC regulations.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of independent healthcare, excellent organisational skills and the ability to provide effective regulatory oversight within a growing clinical service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support LHT’s independent CQC registration and ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Provide effective management and oversight of the regulated services.
• Maintain and review clinical governance policies, procedures and documentation.
• Oversee quality assurance, clinical audits, incident reporting and risk management.
• Ensure appropriate safeguarding, infection prevention and control, medicines governance and patient-safety arrangements.
• Support staff onboarding, compliance checks and training oversight.
• Work collaboratively with treating doctors and clinical staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Oversee complaints handling, duty of candour and continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure the service remains prepared for CQC inspections and regulatory reporting.
• Attend the clinic when required to fulfil management and regulatory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager or in a comparable healthcare management role.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance requirements.
• Experience within independent healthcare, private clinics or surgical services is highly desirable.
• Understanding of clinical risk management, safeguarding and patient safety.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide effective oversight within a flexible working arrangement.
• Relevant healthcare management or clinical qualifications are advantageous.
• Willingness and eligibility to undertake formal CQC Registered Manager registration for the relevant regulated activities.
