Job Description
Events & Activations Manager
London International travel £55,000–£65,000 + benefitsAbout the client
We’re recruiting for a growing international investment firm with an exclusive private client base. The firm hosts a busy calendar of client events across Europe, the US and Asia, and it is building a dedicated events and activations function to raise its profile. Every guest experience needs to feel as considered as anything their clients would find at a luxury house.
The role
This is a hands-on role for an events professional from the luxury world who wants their next step to be broader. You’ll manage events from the first concept to the follow-up, and help build brand partnerships with like-minded luxury names.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering intimate client events, including private dinners, lunches, receptions, seminars and the occasional larger showcase.
- Venue sourcing, supplier management, catering, styling, production and on-site delivery.
- Guest lists, invitations, RSVPs and seating, working closely with the client-facing teams.
- Curating brand partnerships, co-hosted evenings, VIP gifting and bespoke merchandise.
- Negotiating with suppliers, managing budgets and tracking spend.
- Working with design, marketing, legal and finance colleagues so every event is on brand and compliant.
- Travelling regularly to deliver events across Europe, the US and Singapore.
About you
- Experience delivering client or VIC events for a luxury brand, auction house, five-star hotel, private members’ club or private bank.
- Polished, discreet and at ease with high-net-worth guests.
- A strong network of venues and suppliers in London and other key cities.
- Organised and calm under pressure, with confident budget and contract management.
- Excellent written communication, from invitations to briefs and follow-ups.
- Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and happy to travel.
No financial services background is needed. Your eye for detail and your hosting instincts matter far more.
