In-house Employment Taxes Manager, Part-Time

**Part-Time - 3 days a week**

This privately owned international energy business has annual revenues in excess of $1 billion. Operating across the upstream and downstream sectors, it has an established presence in Europe, Africa and Asia.

Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, this newly created specialist role focuses on employment taxes and global mobility. It requires a commercially focused Tax Manager and offers exposure to both UK and international tax matters. You will partner closely with senior finance leaders and external advisers.

You will be responsible for :

• Employment Expenses/Benefits reporting
• Payroll tax withholding (including Social Security) on compensation/remuneration
• Running monthly payroll in various jurisdictions with external providers
• Year-end reporting requirements
• Employee Restricted Stock Units advice
• Dealing with expatriate tax issues,
• Tax requirements of Pension and Benefits plans
• Taxation of business travellers and employment termination benefits
• Workers classification as Employees or Independent contractors/external vendors
• Management of employment tax audits
• Advising on global employment tax issues
• Management of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including interactions with HMRC and overseas taxation authorities

About you:

• Minimum ATT qualified, ideally CTA
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• Industry experience preferred
• High level of technical knowledge across UK employment taxes is essential
• Hands on, commercial approach to the classification of off shore workers
• Employment tax experience for overseas locations an asset, ideally emerging markets
• Must be able to work 1 or 2 days in the Central London HQ
